Transporting
|
|
|
I have been
hauling horses and other livestock for 20 years in the Dakotas, (ND, SD)
along with trips to and through NE, KA, OK, TX, MN, IA, AK, MS, TN, KY,
IL, IN, WI, GA, NC, SC, WY, MT, CO, ID, WA, FL and OR. These are just the
states I have been to and through; this does not mean I will not go to
others some day! I have letters of recommendation for those who would
like to read them. I try to stay close to home during the winter months
but will gather loads from the Dakotas to meet shippers going across on
I-90 or I-80. During the summer months I will pick up longer hauls. I also
have been raising Arabians and high percent Pinto Arabian crosses for 15
plus years. I have hauled and handled a number of breeds. I drive a 2005
four door Dodge Ram 2500 with a 610 High Output Cummins. My trailer is not a slant
load; it is a 7x20 modified stock trailer with factory side enclosures for
comfort in the winter. Horses will be in box stalls and offered feed and
water every 3 to 4 hours with rest stops.

We recommend but do not insist on a
bale of hay be sent with horse to be transported only for the comfort of

carry grass hay with me.

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to recommend Tammy Meidinger of Arasky Transporting to anyone
with any type of shipping needs.
Tammy contracted with me to ship a newly purchased mare from Texas to
Central Iowa. Tammy not only fulfilled all her obligations but went above
and beyond to ensure my comfort with the arrangements and the care of my
horse during the trip.
I felt very confident with Tammy as a business woman, and with no qualms at
all, paid my deposit over 4 months in advance. By choice, I paid Tammy in
full before the trip was made, and all obligations were met without any
problems. Tammy kept me posted on a regular basis as to her plans right up
to the scheduled ship date.
During the hauling of my horse, Tammy kept in regular phone contact, letting
me know the status of both my mare and her trip. I knew exactly when they
would be at my barn, and my mare was delivered in a timely fashion, without
any haul related problems. I have absolutely no doubt that my mare received
the best of care the entire journey.
I would highly recommend Tammy for any type of shipping requirement, and if
a need arises again, I know that I will turn to Arasky Transporting for
assistance.
Thank you again, Tammy, for all of your help.

We hired Tammy to haul three horses out to Washington
from Minnesota and than to haul one back for us. It was a very hot July
weekend, and all the horses were delivered not only on time , but in
excellent shape. Tammy takes very good care of her haul, is always easy to
reach when she's on the road, and will bend over backward to get things done
for you. I know bad things can happen in a haul, but it was a relief
knowing our girls were in very good hands. I recommend Tammy and will use
her in hauling again.

Tammy absolutely IS a wonderful person! I have both
purchased horses from her AND used her for transportation! The horses that
she brought to me arrived in wonderful condition, and one of them foaled
less than 60 days later. I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Best of
luck!

Regarding: Tammy Meidinger
To Whom It May Concern:
It has been my pleasure to be called
‘friend’ by Tammy Meidinger for well over 10 years. She and I met, of
course, because of our mutual love for horses in general – black Arabians
to be specific!!
Over, the years she has been my ‘savior’
on numerous occasions, once bringing her truck and rig to trade us when
our pickup blew up on the first leg of our week long BIG vacation
adventure on horseback. When we got back, she had had our truck fixed
so we were ready to trade her rigs back and head home!!!! On two
occasions she was an integral part of moving me, my household, my 10 dogs,
and my 20 horses cross country in one giant convoy of trailers.
Tammy is dang handy and can fix about
anything!!! She is honest, fair and fun!!!! She is conscientious and
caring to an extreme as a whole, but incredibly so, when handling horses
and animals. I would trust Tammy with any of my animals under any and all
circumstances. I would trust Tammy with my children’s life and my own,
and actually have on numerous occasions!!! She is the kind of friend
whom you want at your back when the $#*^% hits the fan!!!!
Can’t say that about everybody!!!

I have had Tammy
transport horses for me. She did a very good job. The horses were well
handled. She is a very experienced horse woman and knows how to handle a
horse even if it is a little reluctant. There is one thing I think is
very important and that is being very friendly and considerate to the
people I had sent my horses too. They called me and told me how much they
enjoy the short visit with her on arrival. I would not hesitate to have
her haul for me again.

To Whom It May Concern:
I have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Meidinger for approximately 6
years. I have had the opportunity to be with her on several transport
occasions and find her to be highly competent. She takes her
responsibility of caring for the animals in her care very seriously and
their welfare is her first priority. I would not hesitate to ask for her
services if I required a horse transported anywhere within this country!!
If anyone has any questions about my experiences with Ms. Meidinger’s
abilities as a transporter, I can be contacted at the address below.

I would
recommend Tammy Meidinger of Arasky Acres as a hauler of horses. She has
hauled for me numerous of times. She is always there when I need her to
haul a horse at the last minute. She is also very good with the horses and
has patience with the ones that are a little more troublesome to load;
such as one of my mares that runs backwards out of the trailer several
times till she finally loads. So if you need your horses hauled Tammy
would be the one to choose to know your horses will be well taken care of
during their transport.

I am writing this letter of
recommendation for Tammy Meidinger in respect to the hauling and
transporting of livestock. I have had Ms. Meidinger haul on two separate
occasions for me and have been very impressed with the timeliness and
quality of the care my horses received. She did the first haul form South
Dakota to Illinois with a two year old filly. She arrived in excellent
condition and was not worn out from the trip.
The second occasion she
picked up four horses for me two mares and two weanlings, and once again
did a excellent job in transporting them to me. They arrived promptly
according to the time line she gave me prior to her doing the haul.
Ms Meidinger is always on time, in both
picking up the horses when she stated she would and in arriving at my door
with them, has been more then fair with her prices, and keeps her trailer
clean and the horses well feed and watered during the trips. I plan on
using Ms Meidinger in the future, as I am very particular about the care
of my horses when they are being transported and Ms Meidinger has done a
excellent job.

To Whom It May Concern,
Tammy Meidinger
has been hauling horses for me for the last year with great care, as if
they were her own. Which is very important to me, because I want any
hauler to understand how much my horses mean to me and I want them treated
that they are a family member and not just a pay check. Besides being a
good horseman, Tammy has been on time and stays in touch with me during
the haul to let me know where she is and how my horses are doing.
I was also very pleased to watch her backup her truck and
trailer, to take great care to not destroy my landscaping or drive on my
lawn or back into my barn. Please understand that it is tight fight
between my neighbor’s garage and my barn and a telephone pole, and other
haulers have hit my neighbor’s garage.
If you have any
questions, please call or send an email.
Thanks,
Edward Martins

To whom it may concern: Tammy Meidinger agreed to haul 2 draft horses
for me from SD to ND.
Tammy was
extremely efficient, capable and very reliable. She obtained overnight
boarding for my horses to give them a rest, and took the utmost care of
them. Neither of these horses had been handled very much, one was
difficult to load, but Tammy proved to be more than able to get the job
done. I would highly recommend Tammy's service to anyone who cares to
see their animals treated in the correct manner, she went far beyond the
"call of duty" in her care of mine.

Just wanted to thank you for hauling my weanlings. They arrived in good
shape and I think that you did a great job. I like your closed in trailer.
I think you are a very nice person and if you are ever hauling through
here and need a place to stay over you are welcome to stay here.
Thanks, Candy

Thanks so much for the great care you
gave Lovey while transporting her. I knew you would give her great care
during her two day trip from Illiniois. She arrived refreshed and
relaxed and I appreciated your calls to me from the road. It is hard to
arrange transport during the bitter cold of January and February and I
am thankful for your careful schedule. I will recomend you to anyone so
feel free to use me as a reference. We are enjoying Lovey, she is a
sweet mare who is fitting in well here.

Tammy hauled our horse from South Dakota to Nebraska in February 2006.
Even with diverse weather conditions, we were able to count on her to be
there for us. She kept us well informed of all the details so that
everything was timed right. She demonstrated great confidence and care for
the horses and her communication with us was impeccable. It’s just good
peace of mind knowing we have a transporter available out there like
Tammy, and we’ll definitely use her services again should the opportunity
present itself!
