We are a ‘small’ farm specializing in high percentage line-bred FADJUR (since 1982) as the central heart of our program. To enhance the exotic FADJUR type, we have chosen straight Egyptian through double THEEGYPTIANPRINCE, (the second line comes through RAQUIN RA), as our “out-cross.” We are focused on the FADJUR Influence for it’s extreme beauty, tremendous heart, and athletic ability. The “Fabulous FADJUR” has remained our standard by which “to judge all others!” and, in our minds, will always be the epitome of the Arabian. The time has come to make some hard and heart-wrenching decisions. I have decided that I must retire from that which has sustained me over the past 40+ years. This “end to an era” is not financially motivated so I have time to “vet” potential buyers. If you are looking for freebies or cheap, please don’t waste my time or embarrass yourself. There has been a lifetime of work, study, and serious pedigree planning in the horses that I’m offering. It has nothing to do with the quality, since quality is self-evident in all my mares. They were bred to “breed on” both in the FADJUR tradition and as solid out-cross mares to other bloodlines. They are BROODMARES, still young enough and certainly intelligent enough to be trained if that’s what a new owner wishes, but please have the decency not to judge me for what has or hasn’t been done with them. You don’t live in my skin. The following mares are being offered, singularly or as multiples or as an entire broodmare band. I will also consider leasing, preferably on-site, these mares. BSSA KATLIN 566074 grey, 03-14-93 64.0625% FADJUR (YAJUR 100422 x KHOL NIDRE 257337) This mare has taken her dam’s spot as premiere broodmare in the line-bred FADJUR side of our breeding program. She is a good sized, well-balanced, substantial mare with a loving and forgiving attitude. Since birth, she has been willing to please. She is also an easy breeder with absolutely no breeding, gestational or partition problems to date. Produces exotic foals that are also athletic, correct and substantial. If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a FADJUR daughter, she is the equivalent. $15,000 2. BSSA RAKHAIA 514946 grey, Egyptian-sired 03-27-94 23.03125% FADJUR (RALIMARAQUIN 475801 x KHOL NIDRE 257337) This mare has tested well both within and out of a line-bred program. Her last foal, sired by HP FADJURZ AMIR was both ultra-exotic and solidly athletic, currently in AK. She is very well balanced, of average size, with no breeding, gestational or partition difficulties to date. As an out-cross mare, she does extremely well when used with strong or straight Egyptian and phenomenally well with line-bred FADJUR. $10,000 3. BSSA FADCI DESSA 566928 grey, 05-12-97 57.8125% FADJUR (FADJURS NOBILITY 461832 x KHOL NIDRE 257337) Exotic daughter of FADJURS NOBILITY, tested within the FADJUR tradition and successful with producing solid athleticism and intense type. Has had several years off and is ready to get back to work. Very well balanced mare of average size but above average type and motion. Extremely catty on her feet with a natural ability to “round up” along with tremendous propulsion and the potential to develop into a stunning performance mare under the right tutelage. Stunning mare who is the equivalent of a FADJUR daughter. $15,000 4. She is a good sized mare with excellent substance and a true “sport horse” movement. She has a huge stride without much flamboyance. She is the youngest (last) FADJURS NOBILITY daughter and one of the rare chestnut line-bred FADJUR mares. Lovely mare with a very kind and generous disposition and solid, well balanced way of going. Well balanced, of average size and good substance. If interested, inquire about her registration status. Last and only daughter of her dam. Exceptional line-bred FADJUR pedigree based on the foundation of KHOL NIDRE with the equivalency of being a FADJUR daughter. Potential for just about any breeding program and most certainly a program of FADJUR to FADJUR. May produce the coveted black if bred to black. Ready to start a performance career that takes advantage of her natural ability to “round up” and extend. $12,500 10. MW SWIFT BEAR 460981 bay 02-19-90 18.75% FADJUR (LIMA ESCONDIDO 303162 x RAPT-JUR 164942) Gentle little mare who has a huge heart and unlimited kindness, which considering her first couple of years, is truly a miracle. She is blemished but breeding sound and a breath-taking mover. A true gem for any program since she carries the DRIFTER influence via her dam. Broodmare extraordinaire – loves her babies and loves to share those babies with her people, easy to attend during labor and delivery, can be milked (just loves to have her belly and udder rubbed during late pregnancy!) and would probably be easy to graft on an orphan. $5000 12.
